I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Southern Mississippi, starting in Fall 2025. I also serve as an Affiliate Faculty member with the Women and Gender Studies program at Southern Miss.
I previously earned my Ph.D. in Political Science from Stony Brook University. My dissertation, The Role of Masculine and Feminine Identities in American Politics, focused on how voter gender identity interacts with candidate and party gendered presentation to influence partisanship, vote choice, and policy preferences. My interest lies in the subfields of political psychology, political behavior, and American politics more broadly.
