I am an Assistant Professor in Political Science at the University of Southern Mississippi, starting Fall 2025. I previously received by Ph.D. from Stony Brook University in Political Science. My dissertation, The Role of Masculine and Feminine Identities in American Politics, focused on how voter gender identity interacts with candidate and party gendered presentation to influence partisanship, vote choice, and policy preferences. My interest falls within the subfield of political psychology, political behavior, and American politics more broadly.
